Do you have to be able to customise a timelessly beautiful drawer system like Vionaro V8? You don't have to. But you can.

Whether inlay, sheathing or aluminium cover - the various V8 upgrades can be conveniently added at any time. For the designer, this means maximum design freedom. For the brand, maximum differentiation.

Instead of glass, you can of course use other design elements in the V8 Crystal drawer side. Wood, aluminium or ceramic, imprinted or not imprinted – with the right inlay, V8 drawers can be perfectly adapted to any style of furniture.

A completely new and particularly interesting way to make a V8 drawer distinctive is to cover it with a sheathing element. The resulting horizontal division of the V8 drawer sides opens up unprecedented options for customisation. Anything is possible: Two colours, a new material mix, contrasts or individual imprints. The design covers are laid over the railing in a form-fitting way and are anchored in the profile of the drawer side.

Completely new and unique colour and material combinations can be achieved with the elegant cover elements made of aluminium across all drawer side heights.

Is an 8 mm drawer side stable enough?

Our designers and engineers develop, test and optimise GRASS products over many years and go far beyond industry standards. For example, the V8 slim drawer system has also undergone countless endurance and load tests, each with more than 100,000 cycles at maximum load. Successfully. And internationally recognised testing service provider TÜV Rheinland has confirmed compliance with all standards for the Vionaro V8 drawer system, with the LGA certificate. TÜV testers have certified the V8 drawer as "tested for stability".

What are the benefits of having a thin drawer side?

Quite simply: maximum differentiation, maximum attention and, above all, more storage space. The less space occupied by hardware, the more that remains for storage. Our slim drawer system creates additional storage space: 9 millimetres wider, 7 millimetres deeper and up to 20 millimetres taller.

How sustainable is the V8?

For us, environmental protection means taking responsibility. Our goal has therefore been to develop a sustainable drawer system with Vionaro V8, which not only can be produced and coated in an environmentally friendly manner, but whose materials can also be recycled by material type. The concept of the world's first solid metal drawer side resulted from this. Consequently, we have completely dispensed with plastic elements, foams and adhesives in pursuit of robustness, sustainability and recyclability. We are convinced that climate protection begins with the small things And you can also contribute with the V8 drawer.

Which slide system does the Vionaro V8 need?

Under the Vionaro V8 drawer, the Dynapro slide system ensures perfect movement. The quality, stability and smoothness of the concealed slide, which has a proven track record, remain "state of the art". Dynapro is the embodiment of exceptionally easy opening, excellent running characteristics, minimum drawer deflection and outstanding reliability. Dynapro is furthermore one of the world's most successful concealed slide mechanisms for fully extending units. In short, V8 drawers and Dynapro slide mechanisms complement each other to create a unique mix of design, technology and performance.

Can the back panel be made of wood?

While the back panel clips of other drawer systems can only be used for steel back panels or require special adapters to use wooden back panels, the V8 back panel clip can do both. Without adapter. The Vionaro V8 laser-welded back panel connection can be used equally for wood and steel back panels.

Which front heights are possible with the Vionaro V8?

What makes the Vionaro V8 so special is the ability of the extremely slim and sleek V8 drawer to transform the enormous forces that arise when opening and closing high fronts into a smooth movement. Even fronts up to 780 mm in height present no issue at all for the system. All elements relevant to the stability of the drawer system - i.e. drawer side, back panel clip and front connection - are made of steel, which proves instrumental. This makes Vionaro V8 a lightweight, yet fully resilient, contender.

Where is the V8 manufactured?

Vionaro V8 is a "Made in Austria" brand product. All the components of the slim drawer system are developed and produced in Austria, as are those for the Dynapro slide system.

For more than seven decades, the heart of GRASS has been beating in Vorarlberg, where it all began. This is where series production of the first drawer slides started, and where our drawer systems are still being produced today. Vionaro V8 is no exception.

How thick do the slide-in elements need to be?

Both the V8 Crystal drawer side and the V8 Crystal inner front can be fitted with standard slim 5 mm glass panes or other slide-in elements measuring just 5 millimetres thick. The special design of the V8 makes it possible to clamp glass or slide-in elements between the U-profiles of the drawer side and the railing without the need for further processing. Sounds simple. And it is.
